Palestinian people are striving for their rights of self determination,
justice and independent democratic state since sixty years ago. PARC
as one of the first Non-governmental organizations to be established
in the Palestinian territories long time before the establishment of
Palestinian Authority (PA) has played important role in provision of
services to farmers and women in the rural areas has also played an
important role in enabling these people to protect their rights in
land and dignified life and contributed with other national forces in
keeping the Palestinian cause alive.
Maximizing PARC’s role in national and social struggle is coinciding
with PARC’s mission and consorts well with PARC’s importance
as the biggest non-government organization working for rural
development.
To achieve this goal, the following area will be addressed:

3.1 Improving PARC’s Role in Local and Regional Networks and the influence in National Struggle.
3.2 Raising the Performance of PARC’s staff in Lobbying and Advocacy.
3.3 Enhancing the Values of Civil Society among PARC’s Worker and Volunteer.
3.4 Enhancing the Peace Values that based on Freedom and Justice.
3.1 Improving PARC’s Role in Local and Regional Networks and the influence in National Struggle.
To achieve this result, the following areas will be addressed:
- Workshops: the target of these workshops is
PARC’s employees and will focus on a number of
subjects among which: importance of working in
networks and its positive impact on the national
level, diagnosis of points of strengths and
weakness of PARC.
- Training courses: This will target employees of
PARC and partner organization employees. These
trainings will focus on the skills needed formation
of coalitions and alliances, lobbying and advocacy
techniques.
- Organizations of campaigns. These will cover
various issues among which we mention the:
boycott of products of Israeli settlements in the
Palestinian territories, encouraging Palestinian
products, wall damage and losses registration,
etc.
- Arranging of internal and external exchange visits to elaborate Palestinian struggle.
3.2 Raising the Performance of PARC’s staff in Lobbying and Advocacy.
To achieve this result, the following areas will be addressed:
- Organizing of training courses for PARC employees and partner CBOs in the techniques for the organization of
campaigns,
- Internal exchange visit for experience exchange. This will be organized for PARC’s employees and volunteers from
partner CBOs.
- External exchange visits where members of PARC’s staff travel abroad to attend conference for lobbying and
advocacy to give them the opportunity to learn and gain experience.
- Producing of films. These films will document the catastrophic impact of Israeli actions on Palestinian life
- Brochure will be produced and distributed for lobby and advocacy purposes.
- The research will document the activities of working institution regarding lobbying and advocacy in oPT
3.3 Enhancing the Values of Civil Society among PARC’s Worker and Volunteer
To achieve this result, the following areas will be addressed:
- Holding of training courses. This activity targets PARC’s employees and volunteers from partner CBOs. These training
courses will cover issues like: role of media in strengthening civil society, conflict transformation and resolution, etc.
- Workshops on tolerance, transparency, good governance, system values, civil peace, representation and delegation
- Arranging of internal and external visits. Visits for employees and volunteer to other working institutions to exchange
experience in civil society principles.
- Visits for employees and volunteers to external NGOs to improve their experience in civil society principles and
values
- Publications. Pamphlet for highlighting and documenting of best practices of participation, transparency and success
model and stories
- Campaign. campaigns for election, basic human rights will be arranged
- TV series. Civil society principles will be elaborated by TV
- Study and research. Research on best practices concerning the civil society values and principles in similar working
NGOs (internal or externally) will be carried and reports will be released and circulated among PARC employees and
volunteers
- Consultancy visits will be arranged for groups of farmers and volunteers concerning civil society practices. PARC
capacities regarding civil society principle will be enhanced by external consultant
- Summer camps. Local and external summer camps will be arranged for volunteers.

3.4 Enhancing the Peace Values that based on Freedom and Justice.
To achieve this result, the following areas will be addressed:
- Organizing a number of campaigns about Palestinian rights. These will consist of a number of sub-activities
including film production, exhibitions, TV interviews, workshops, etc. Different stakeholders from private and
governmental institutions will be invited to
participate in these campaigns.Holding of workshops on various national issues
with direct liaison to peace process like the
independence declaration, independence chart,
settlements impact on peace process and other
relevant issues.
- Organizing of voluntary campaigns for helping
farmers in olive harvest. Local and international
volunteers will participate in these campaigns
together with Israelis from the peace movement
in Israel.
- Conducting of training courses to strengthen the
spirit of voluntary work and to build capacities of
volunteers.
- Internal and external exchange visits. These visits
will be arranged internally and externally for PARC staff and volunteers and it will be used to elaborate the
concept of peace process according to the Palestinian agenda
- Study and research. These study and research will serve the purpose of documenting of the Occupation Practices
and destruction activities.
