The Greek Committee for International Democratic Solidarity (EEDDA) in Cooperation with Agricultural Development Association (PARC) are operating a Water Emergency Project funded by the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid department. The project is Aiming to reduce the cost of both water supply and sanitation for the targeted beneficiaries through activities as construction of rainwater harvesting cisterns, construction of on-site grey wastewater treatment plants, installation of home garden irrigation networks and conduction of training Courses on water hygiene and water born diseases, maintenance and operation of the treatment plant and treatment and reuse of treated effluent. The operation targets directly 140 rural families and a total of 980 persons in four villages.
