The Agricultural Development Association condemns the attacks of the Israeli Occupation on its crews in the northern Jordan Valley

Agricultural Development Association condemns the aggression of the occupation forces on its crews while working on a Thursday evening in Furush Beit Dajan in the Jordan Valley, and detaining the contractor and the head of the village council of Furush Beit Dajan.  

The General Director of PARC, Monjed Abu Jaish, said that this attack was part of the expansion of settlements and land ownership and a cheap exploitation of the global crisis that led the international community's concerns to health issues and the provision of the Coronavirus vaccine.  

Abu Jaish added that PARC works in occupied Palestinian lands according to United Nations resolutions, and that PARC will follow up this issue with various international institutions, and put them in the details of the daily occupation crimes against our people and their destiny.

The head of the village council of Furush Beit Dajan Azim Muhammad indicated that the occupation is continuing its attempts to annex the valley and has not stopped it, as stated by the media, and that this attack comes within the framework of emptying the valleys of its residents by restricting them and forcing them to leave the agricultural lands which are the source of their livelihood.

On Thursday evening, 12/24/2020, the Israeli occupation forces detained those working on the project "Enhancing and Improving Preparedness and Response in Vulnerable Rural Areas" funded by the Christian Aid. During the pavement works in Furush Beit Dajan, PARC crews were detained and the contractor responsible for the implementation of the work (Eylol Company) and its mechanism (a concrete mixer) were also detained, along with the head of the village council of Furush Beit Dajan village, Azim Hajj Muhammad.
